Partnership Test...!!

Hi All,

Just finish my Test on Partnership Law. Honestly the questions is a lil confusing. Not sure which one of two sections of the Partnership Act to use.. I'm glad it's over tho..... 2 sleepless and unrest nights has turn me into a walking zombie this morning. But I'm used to it by now. This is my life as a part time law student. In the day help my dad with the operation of his legal firm and night, it's either attending classes or reading cases and law books (while updating my blogs, surfing, youtube-ing, streaming movies, writing.. hehee). Fortunately I love doing what I do. ;)

Anyway, I have another test coming up this Monday - on Copyrights Law....  Hope to do well. But tonite, I decided to give myself a rest... and listen to the audio cover version of  P.Ramlee's n Saloma song.... ;) Chill ya'll...!!!

Jointly and Severally liable....

The Difference between Sect. 11 and 14 of the Partnership Act 1961.

Sect. 11

1.         Applicable for debts and obligations of a contractual in nature.

2.         Partners are Jointly Liable if all partners are still alive – Only one action can be taken.

3.         Partners are only severally liable if one or some of the partners is dead , provided:-

i)                    He (the deceased)  is a partner on the time the firm holds the liability

ii)                   Action against living partners must first be taken and if the judgment has not

been satisfied, further action can be taken on the estate of the deceased to satisfy the debts or obligations.

iii)                 Judgment cannot be enforced until the Deceased's personal creditors are fully discharge.

Sect. 14

1.         Deals with liability under torts and other wrongs under sect. 12 and 13.

2.         Partners are Jointly and Severally Liable

3.         Can take further action until the judgment is satisfied

4.         Each partner can be sued together or in turn until the full amount is recover.

Hello people....!!! I just wanna clarify somethings just so no one gets hurt or no one misinterpret the content of Dee's Nerdy Room's Blog. This is in regards of my marital status. From my earlier post, it is no secret that Dee is engaged, and still happily engaged...

The poem / writtings / lyrics (or whatever you guys call it) that I wrote and publish here has got nothing to do with my personal relationship with my fiancee. It is all pure imagination which might have been inspired by Friends, songs, movies, personal encounters....  etc etc....

“Talent Unleashed !!!”

I always admire those who plays guitar and / or has a really good vocal. And for some reason I prefer to look for those talent in other than those professional artist. Again, Youtube has given me those privileges. I personally think that this people are sincere and honest in their passion and talent in music.

Would you know if the person sitting at the left corner in your contract class can actually plays music instruments pretty well or would you know if your shy and quiet classmate has a vocal of a star??

Well, I never expected that the 1^st person I know during my BLS registration day have talent in singing nor did I expect my classmate who I only first correspond thru YM Chat can play guitar and has a pretty decent vocal too.

The person who is singing in this video is a really dear friend of mine. Abe Z is what I call him. He has a really high pitch amazing vocal. The first time I heard him sing is when we first went karaoke-ing together. My jaw practically drop (not literally, of course) when I first heard his vocal. The one song that I love hearing him sing is “Permaidani” by Aris Ariwatan. His Idol is none other than Jamal Abdillah. So you can guess what his chosen singing song would usually be.  He has posted some of his video in Youtube. You guys can check it out under the name “desire4002”. ;)

The guy playing the guitar is one of my classmates. We first started interacting with each other thru YM but barely spoke one decent sentence to each other in class. (I’m a very shy girl... ~~wink .. wink~~). Some call him Tengku, but I’m more comfortable calling him Shazuan. He can play guitar really well and has an admirable singing voice too. He has posted some of his video singing and playing guitar in his Facebook and the one that I like the most is the cover song of Bruno Mars – Just The Way You Are. I would like to publish it here but have to seek consent first lor... ;) hope he’ll give consent and sent it to me (Impliedly seeking consent here.. hehehee).  His tone of voice is the kind of tone that I personally like. (please do not make this statement controversial people..!! ;)) The one song that I like hearing him sing is “Biarlah Bulan Bicara” by Broery Marantika.

This is the first time they actually combine their talent and make it into a video. This first attempt is pretty good and I know they can do a whole lot better.  Hope there are many more in the making and do allow me to publish here ya..!! owh, and maybe the next video can be a cover of P.Ramlee’s song?? ~~wink..wink~~  

This is not the only talents in my BLS class. There are few more music talents that I hope to get consent to write about soon and share in my not-so-popular blog.

Yes people!!  The “nerdy” law student can really “JAM” !!!;)

The Dullness Motivates - Part II

It’s White’s luck again..!!! Tonite “The Cool Master” wore white.... but with Blue collar and stripes (TT’s choosen colour). But since there is more white than Blue, I insisted that I Won!!! Hehehe

Unfortunately I am unable to snap any picture without anyone noticing as “The Cool Master” was sitting somewhere un-strategic.. ;) I’ll try to snap for the next Bet ya??

Next would be “the gym partner”. This would be a lil hard tho cause I dunt really noticed what colour he usually wore to class... TT pick Red and I’m giving it a random guess – GREEN...!!

Mawlid an-Nabi ..

Today, the Muslims all around the world are celebrating MAULIDUR RASUL also known as MAWLID AN-NABI – The Birth of our beloved Prophet, Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. Prophet Muhammad S.A.W was born on 12 Rabiul Awal and he passed away on his 63th Birthday.....

On this day we would sadaqah our prayers and praises to him. His way of life is an example of living for all Muslims and this would be a perfect day to be reminded of how we have been living our life and whether or not it is in accordance to Islam.....

To All my Muslim Friends.... Selamat menyambut hari Maulidur Rasul..... ;)

The Dullness Motivates ...!!!

It has been almost a month since classes started. Taken subject would be - Intellectual Property 1, Criminal Law 1, Admin Law and Law of Associations 1.... as usual some of the classes are really interesting and some can make you snooze within the first 15 minutes ( or less)... :D

So.. to make this boring classes interesting.. TT (my BFF) and I started this betting thing.. We would first take turn to name a person and bet on his shirt colour ... lame huh?? Hehehehe.....  Well, our first victim was “DAY” .... TT Betted that he would wore Pink... and I betted Green.... Damn!!! I lost the Bet...!!! TT got her free dinner that night....

The next class we betted on “Dr. Pepper”... my chosen colour was white n TT’s blue... YesHHH!!! I won..!!! and TT has yet to buy me dinner....  The next coming class we decided to bet on “The cool master” n this time K.Leeya wants to join too.... K.Leeya pick Black n I pick White..... TT has yet to confirm... Let’s see whose gonna get her free dinner rite??

This time I would take a picture and post it here..... wait for it people....

The Legend !! ~~Talent Never Dies~~

To be honest, I never really did give any interest in Malay Songs or Artist.... But lately I realised that there are few Malaysian artists who I think is really talented..... M.Nasir, Amy Search, Ella, Jamal Abdillah, Siti Nurhaliza, Ziana Zain, Sheila Majid and even KRU to name few.... and to top all this names.... Tan Sri P.Ramlee..... !!!

Believe it or not, I do not listen to P.Ramlee songs before nor did I watch any of his film. My friends would always quote funny dialogs from his film and laugh hysterically together, and I would be the one who has a “question mark” sign on my head (not literally of course.. :p). Being felt left out on the jokes most of the time make me curious.... and this is the time when “Youtube” become really handy... :D

After listening to his songs and watching his movie, I know now, why he’s a legend in the industry.. He is really talented – his voice, his acting, his script, his music arrangement..... I guess that is why his talent survive even years after his death..

Now, there is no one day pass by without me listening to his songs... My favourite song would be “Getaran Jiwa” , “Bila Bulan Dipagar Bintang”, “Tanya sama Hati”, “Bunyi Guitar” and “Nak Dara Rindu”. And this list keeps growing day by day....

Every now and then there will be someone sending me video of themselves, singing and playing their guitar (for some reason unspecified) – usually current hits be it Malay or English songs... but I noticed, none actually played P.Ramlee song and why not?? Maybe then I would be impressed.... !! ;)

Curiosity of the ending of one's friendship.....

DEE’s ENGAGED...!!!

Watsup y’all....!! I would like to share one of the important date in my life - 5th February 2011 is when I’m officially engaged to Naim Zihni Nik Mansor..!!! We’ve known each other for about 4 years.. and of course there is up and downs in our journey of love but Alhamdulillah we manage to put our difference a side and make things work...

The Engagement Ceremony - Alhamdulillah the ceremony went well.... it started a lil late then planned but nevertheless it went smoothly... Hantaran was 7 from the girl side n 5 from the boy side. The Ring given to me – “cincin risik” and “cincin tunang”. Both white gold and one of it with Diamond... It’s a simple one, just the way i like it... Naim got a cincin himself from our side... a stainless steel + platinum band with Diamond.

I would like to thank my parents, sisters, both my bro-in-law, my fiancée’s family, my best frens, frens and all the rest who had made this possible.....
